Facilities

1. AVIT has spacious Air-conditioned class rooms which includes facilities like internet connectivity, audio visual aids and public address systems.

4. AVIT has a sprawling campus consisting of well-designed multi-storied buildings providing ample space for class rooms, well-equipped laboratories, excellent library, auditorium, hostel, and student amenities centre. The departments are well equipped with modern machines, computers and instruments. The management has provided best infrastructure facilities
5. Indoor and outdoor games facilities (Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball courts and cricket grounds) are available. Inter department and group sports competitions are conducted regularly. Students are also encouraged to participate in inter college sports competitions.
6. The college has separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels are second home to the inmates. The rooms are well furnished. Common rooms are furnished with television, news papers, magazines and indoor game facilities. The food is wholesome and hygienic. Air-conditioned rooms are also available on request.
7. AVIT is well connected by public transport system.. The college can be reached in an hour’s drive from Adyar, Chennai city.The college also operates fleet of Buses covering key locations in and around Chennai, to facilitate the students and staff community.
8. Gymnasia has 12-station multi-gym facility. The gym is spacious and well equipped with modern imported equipments. It has centralised air-conditioning and audio and video facilities.
